Visiting and Reasoning

This is one of the groups we are targeting on a weekly basis. The 4th from the left has already chosen to follow Christ, him and his wife. The one 2nd from the left is very receptive. This photo was take in mid-November 17. At the end of November we have bigger group of more than 15 not counting the young men who are still in high school. And we were bombarded with all the difficult questions; “Is Jesus God? Does that mean you have 3 God? How many prophets do you have? Why was the Bible translated and were the translation true to the original text. It went on for 2 straight hours. With the group were 3 Allajis and 2 Modibos (Teachers). So it wasn’t really easy responding.

We have learnt a lot too in terms of approach, befriending, and sharing using proverbs. We are engaged a lot in cultivation and sowing. Most of the adults are illiterate so we want them to learn to read and write in their language so they could read the Bible. Only the Allajis can read and the high school students. This is where we want to make an investment and partner with the department of literacy.
